Biography |

Asena Ilham was
born in Russia. She started dancing russian north-eastern folkore at
the age of seven, later she played at theatres.
She posseses an
excellent classical dancing-fundament (Ballet), participates at
other dancing offers regulary (Modern) and does a lot of
Salsa.

In
1999 she discovered the oriental dance. During regular and
private dance-lessons she came in contact with many famous instructors, such as Jaffra (Germany), Gamal Seif (Egipt),
Beata & Horacio Cifuentes (Germany), prof. Hassan Khahil (Egipt)
as well as Hassan Afifi (Egipt). |

She has
been filmed by WDR-Television for german tv-productions on
several occasions, and of course participates at shows and
oriental gala performances on a regular basis. |

Her
intensive studies of the oriental dance of course involve
several trips to foreign countries.
Worth
mentioning are a longer stay in Turkey (Pataja/Kas) at
2001, an apperance at Flash-TV in Istanbul at 2002 and
different performances in Greek/Karpathos in 2003.
Besides
she worked as instructor for oriental dance at the universitiy
of Bonn in the years 2003/2004. |
